Part 3: Moving Forward and Learning
The days that followed gave me time to reflect on everything that had happened.
Moments like these can be painful, but they also offer an opportunity to grow and reassess what truly matters in life.
Instead of focusing on anger or blame, I chose to focus on rebuilding my future and strengthening my independence.
During that time, several professional issues related to Ethan’s company also began attracting attention. Business partners started asking questions, and financial concerns slowly became public.
As the situation developed, investors lost confidence and the company began facing serious challenges.
While these events unfolded, I focused on myself—my well-being, my goals, and the kind of life I wanted to build moving forward.
That experience taught me an important lesson.
Kindness should never be mistaken for weakness. Being patient, respectful, and trusting are valuable qualities, but they should always be balanced with self-respect.
Since then, I have continued my life with greater confidence and clarity.
And I proudly kept my family name.
