2. Preparing for the Wedding
Time passed, and Catherine grew into a confident and thoughtful young woman. She built a career she loved and surrounded herself with supportive friends.
Eventually, she met Tyler.
Tyler was kind, patient, and thoughtful—the kind of person who made others feel comfortable instantly. Their relationship developed naturally, built on trust and shared values.
When Tyler proposed, Catherine felt overwhelming happiness. Of course, the first person she called was Grandma Rose.
Rose was thrilled by the news. She immediately began asking questions about the wedding plans, the flowers, and most importantly—the dress.
Catherine smiled when she remembered the promise she had made years earlier.
She told Rose that she intended to keep that promise.
Sadly, before the wedding preparations were finished, Rose passed away peacefully one night in her sleep. The loss was incredibly difficult for Catherine, who had spent most of her life with her grandmother as her closest guide.
